How we do it
- Plan. We go over where each connection needs to be, how many you may need later, and where the equipment will sit.
- Install. Cat6 cable run neatly and supported properly, kept clear of power where it should be, and ended on jacks and a patch panel.
- Label and test. Every run is labelled at both ends and tested, so you know each connection works before we leave.
- Hand off. You get a list of what was installed and where, which makes it easy for you or your IT provider to manage later.
One contractor for power and data
When the same crew runs the power and the data, the outlets and data jacks end up together, the communications room has the circuits it needs, and there is one schedule instead of two. If you have an IT provider or internet company, we work alongside them: we handle the cabling, and they set up the network equipment and your service.
Building new?
Data cabling costs far less to run before drywall than after. Bring us in at rough-in and we will wire the power and data together, with room to add more later.
