What a power problem costs a farm or plant
- A storage ventilation failure that puts a whole crop at risk
- A freezer or cooler outage that spoils product
- Old services that cannot handle new equipment
- Long outages at the end of the line after a storm
What we do for farms and fisheries
- Barn, shop, storage and greenhouse wiring
- New services and upgrades, overhead or underground
- Equipment hookups for pumps, fans, compressors and freezers
- Motor controls and variable frequency drives
- Standby generators and transfer switches

Questions we get asked
Can you install three-phase power?
Yes. We install and upgrade three-phase and single-phase services and coordinate the connection with Maritime Electric.
How big a solar system can a farm install?
Maritime Electric net metering allows systems up to 100 kW. Systems around 30 kW and larger may need three-phase power.
Can a generator run my storage fans?
Yes. We size the generator for the loads that matter most, such as ventilation, coolers and pumps, and set it to start on its own.
